Shoreham Academy is looking for a School Counsellor to provide specialist therapeutic support to pupils with a range of emotional, psychological, and mental health needs, including complex, comorbid, and neurodivergent presentations. You will work independently, using clinical supervision to ensure safe and effective practice, while contributing to the school’s mental health strategy, safeguarding responsibilities, and whole-school wellbeing initiatives.

Two satisfactory references are required from all successful applicants, one of which must be the current or most recent employer. Prohibition order checks are undertaken for all newly appointed teachers and support staff who will be engaged in ‘teaching work’.

All new employees will be required to complete a medical questionnaire.
