A well-known heritage organization in Liverpool seeks a Welcome Team Member to provide a friendly welcome and insightful information to visitors. The role involves assisting guests, promoting membership, and handling light physical tasks. With up to 32 days of holiday and a comprehensive pension scheme, this position is ideal for someone passionate about delivering excellent customer service. As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract/duration: Fixed term contract from April 2026 until 6 September 2026
Hours/working pattern: 472.5 hours over the contract. This role is based on annualised hours, where the number of hours you work each week may vary slightly, however your salary will be paid equal instalments over the course of the contract.
Average of 3 shifts a week but shift patterns and times will vary.
Interview date: Tuesday 3rd March

With over 1.1 million visitors annually, this dynamic, highly designated and much-loved coastal site is not without its challenges. We’re looking in detail at how we best care for the nationally and internationally important dune system, the woodland, and rare species such as sand lizard, natterjack toad and red squirrel, as well as the cultural history of this special place.
Joining the Welcome Team at National Trust Formby, you’ll report to the Welcome Manager and be part of a friendly, supportive team who take pride in greeting every visitor with warmth and enthusiasm. Providing a warm welcome and sharing information, you'll help visitors make the most of their day. You'll be promoting membership and supporting fundraising efforts, inspiring visitors to get more involved or donate.
The role involves being on your feet for much of the day, carrying out light physical tasks and manual handling.
