A leading automotive company in Milton Keynes is offering a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant apprenticeship. This opportunity is designed for individuals looking to kickstart their careers in procurement. You will assist in supplier setup, manage purchase orders, and support negotiations while working towards a recognized qualification. What will you be doing?
You'll be part of our busy Procurement team, where you'll learn how we choose and work with our suppliers. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll gain experience in setting up new suppliers, processing purchase orders, gathering the information needed for tender requests, and supporting price negotiations. You’ll also help prepare contracts so they can be reviewed and approved. As you progress, you’ll build strong business partnering skills and develop your confidence in negotiating, enabling you to support the full sourcing process and help award contracts to the right suppliers. You’ll be working towards your level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant CIPS apprenticeship to gain a recognised qualification alongside industry experts.
What do you need?

To be eligible for the apprenticeship, you need to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades 9-4 or A-C) including Maths and English. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have accuracy in your work. You will also need to meet the eligibility criteria in the Government apprenticeship rules including:
Right to work: You must have the right to work in the UK.
Residency: you must meet one of the following:
Prior knowledge and skills: You must not hold a qualification in a related subject at the same level or higher.
Government funded learning programmes: You must not be on another government funded learning programme.

What's the assessment process?
Once you hit the apply button, you will be asked to submit an application form with CV and answer a couple of video interview questions so that we have a chance to get to know a little more about you. Our final step in the journey would be to attend a face-to-face interview. Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after for a September 2026 start.
