A leading aerospace manufacturer in Lancashire is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team on an initial 8-week contract, with a strong potential for extension and a chance to transition into a permanent position. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join a leading Aerospace manufacturer based in Lancashire.
This is an initial 8-week contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. For the right person, there is also an opportunity to move into a permanent position.
CNC Milling within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment
Setter/Operator responsibilities (programming not essential)
Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
Working from engineering drawings and quality specifications
You will be working on a range of modern CNC milling machines, including:
Mori
ACE 400
ACE 500
DVM
SV
2 × Mywx CNC Mills
Days: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Early finish on Fridays
Opportunity to move onto 2pm – 10pm, 4 days per week
No weekend work
£26 per hour (Contract)
Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Aerospace experience preferred
Confident working with CNC milling machines
Strong attention to detail and quality
