The Role

Associate Lecturers are expected to teach across foundation of legal knowledge modules. It would be advantageous if applicants could teach on some or all of the following modules to support our joint business programmes.

• MGT5015 Corporate Finance
• MGT5028 Marketing Strategy and Implementation
• MGT5027 Management Accounting
• MGT6018 Corporate Governance and CSR
• MGT6027 Social Enterprise

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops aligned to module specifications.
• Update and maintain engaging digital learning content via VLE and MS Teams.
• Support student assessment and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Advise students on academic and pastoral matters, referring where appropriate.
• Participate in moderation, standardisation, and academic quality assurance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of the student experience.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• A Master’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience teaching Law topics in a UK higher education setting.
• Excellent communication and digital teaching skills.
• Ability to develop innovative learning materials and manage hybrid delivery.
• Commitment to inclusivity and student‑centred learning.

Desirable:

• Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
• PhD in Law or equivalent industry experience.
• Fellowship of Advance HE (or eligibility).
• Experience with Law research, enterprise activity, or professional networks.
