A leading UK food retailer is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to join their team. This role involves overseeing the delivery of merchandising plans, conducting data analysis, and managing workflows within a hybrid work environment. We’re looking for a Merchandising Specialist to join our Merchandising team. The Merchandising team sit within our Commercial Department and are pivotal to the deployment of our Commercial strategy, working collaboratively alongside other stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Trade Planning, Format and Marketing.
The purpose of the Merchandising function is to drive sales and reduce costs with a customer centric focus on availability - enabling the delivery of the right range, in the right space, for every product. Merchandisers are specifically responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining a portfolio of planograms that support commercial and corporate strategies.
Candidates should have experience of micro space planning, merchandising systems, and category review/range analytics. We work in a fast paced environment , therefore the ability to prioritise as well as adapt to change are key attributes for this role. Candidates should have strong communication skills both written and verbal, be able to present information confidently, influencing stakeholders where required to achieve optimum outcomes. You will drive your own workload, maintaining adherence to critical paths and ensuring all activity is delivered on time to a high standard for our stores and customers.

This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford where you will work a hybrid working pattern, with the expectation that you will be on-site 3 days a week. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.
