We’re committed to providing industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, adding value through client-side and construction-phase support. We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based. This position is based in our Epsom or Peterborough offices.The role will offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply knowledge, experience, and problem-solving skills whilstprovidinggood opportunities for career development.As aCivil WaterEngineer in the D&AT practice, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities: - Responsible forinputting and/orpreparingtechnical deliverables such as designreports, drawings, calculations, and scopes of work with defined scope.- Provide technical input into project design deliverables forCivilWateraspects of multi-disciplinary projects and work with theCivil Waterteamleadtorecommendinput into overall project milestones andprogrammes.Work independently with moderate technical guidance.Use technical experience andjudgement to solvedesignproblems whereappropriateandprovideinformalguidance to junior team members.* A degree inCivilEngineering or equivalent.* CharteredCivilEngineer.* engineeringdesign delivery team for a design consultancy.* Takesbroadperspective toidentifyinnovative solutions to design problems.* Ability to work independently with moderate technical guidance.* Proficiencyin applicable analytical software and related tools such asAutocad, Civil3D, Revit, CDEs, ArcGIS, MS Suite, PowerBI.* Experience inthe Watermarket is preferredbut not essential.* Demonstratesstrong communicationskills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively within diverse multi-disciplinary teams.* A proactive, highly motivated mindset with a collaborative approach to drive teamwork andsharedsuccess across projects.Proven experience indelivery oftechnical design work as part of aCivilWaterRequires broad knowledge and practical experience inrisk assessment, quality control, designmanagementand collaboration with key disciplines involved in water infrastructure design and delivery, for example MEICA, structures, and geotechnics.- Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practicesincluding CDM regulations, Eurocodes, regulatory bodies, water utility standards, NEC.
