Job summary

A leading orthopedic hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow focusing on bone infections for a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. The position requires significant experience in orthopedic training and managing hip and knee conditions. Responsibilities include conducting clinical audits, teaching medical students, and collaboration with consultants. Qualifications

• Significant experience as an orthopaedic trainee.
• Competent in managing patients with hip and knee conditions.
• Ideally limb salvage experience.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in the Hospital’s clinical audit programme.
• Provide teaching and advice to medical students.
• Work with each Consultant within the service to gain maximum experience.

Skills

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary environment

Good interpersonal and organisational skills

Evidence of publications and/or presentations relating to arthroplasty

Education

Registration with the GMC with a licence to practice

FRCS (Orthopaedic) or an appropriate higher surgical qualification
