• Support the HSE Manager with policy updates.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits.
• Investigate and respond to H&S incidents.
• Perform internal audits and inspections for HSE.
• Ensure training needs are identified and met.

Overview

Location: Greater Manchester

This is a great opportunity for a HSE Advisor or H&S Coordinator to develop in a business that is number one in what they do. This is a brand-new role and offers progression for someone if they wish to develop in a business.

About You

• You will have a NEBOSH certificate and ideally a certificate in environmental
• Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
• As HSE Advisor, you will have a strong character and resilience.
• Confident to deal with people at all levels from the shop floor up to Director level.
• Experience working in H&S within food/FMCG manufacturing preferred but will consider other manufacturing.

What will you be doing?

• You will support the HSE Manager and keep all the policies and legislation up to date.
• Risk assessments, policies and audit training.
• Investigate, monitor and respond to H&S incidents and ensure corrective action is in place.
• As Health & Safety Coordinator, you will carry out internal audits and inspections for HSE
• Ensure that everyone is trained and any training needs are booked in.
