Job summary

A growing organisation in the UK is looking for a part-time Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations in a primarily home-based capacity. The successful candidate will manage core financial tasks, provide reporting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with strong financial controls. The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently. Periodic visits to the Plymouth office are required for post collection and team meetings.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Finance Manager to join ARGANS Limited in a primarily home-based role. Reporting to the General Manager, the postholder will take end-to-end responsibility for the organisation’s day-to-day finance operations, working closely with the external Accountant and the wider group Finance Team.

The role plays a key part in supporting informed decision-making through accurate financial management information, forecasting and reporting, while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance. This is a standalone role offering a high degree of autonomy and ownership of the full finance function, alongside occasional general administrative support within a growing and evolving organisation.

The successful candidate will be required to visit the Plymouth office periodically to collect post and attend team meetings as required.
