The RoleWe’ll look to you to take responsibility for the equipment used and ensure all aspects of use (production and cleaning) are carried out to a high standard, in line with associated documentation and GMP procedures. Pack products to the highest quality standard and comply with the set GMP guidelines and procedures.

Operate machinery and equipment, supporting the line lead in delivering excellence and meeting the schedule of adherence. Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with the set Health and Safety guidelines.

So, what will you be doing?

This role has a broad and varied remit, and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Packing products to a high standard, ensuring the quality of those products is in accordance with the set GMP standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Attend and comply with any planned in-house training or on-the-job training
  • Capable and willing to train others in the team.
  • To ensure the efficient and safe use of machinery and equipment.
  • To keep strictly to packing methods as laid down in the documentation and raise any issues or errors to the Line Lead, Packing Specialists or shift Manager.
  • To ensure all equipment is clean and maintained in good working order, and where deficiencies are found, escalating to senior staff.
  • Maintain the highest standards of Housekeeping, Cleanliness, and personal hygiene within the department.
  • To notify the Line Lead, Packing Specialist, or Shift Manager as a matter of urgency if there has been any serious safety or GMP failure that could affect staff, product quality, or operational efficiency.
  • To identify any issues and attempt to resolve them, and escalate if they cannot be resolved.
  • To support Operational Excellence incentives to drive and improve efficiency.
  • Any other reasonable request made by a member of staff.
  • Demonstrate all DECHRA values and encourage others to do the same.
