Job summary

A prominent nursery provider in Warwick is seeking a SENDCO Lead to support children with special educational needs and disabilities. Qualifications

  • Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
  • Excellent understanding of EYFS.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
  • Ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Taking the lead in assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Leading collaboration with families, staff, and external agencies to implement support plans.
