We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Apprentice. This role is ideal for someone new to the field who is eager to learn and develop their skills. As an IT Apprentice, you will play a key role as a Help Desk support engineer, with opportunities to progress into other areas of Desktop Management.

Manage incidents and software issues by keeping support tickets up to date and escalating to the correct teams when necessary. Troubleshoot standard software applications and escalate issues as required to maintain service continuity.
Set up and configure devices by building laptops, installing required software, and ensuring devices are secure and compliant before being issued to users. Prepare workstation environments, including desks, monitors, and docking stations, to provide users with fully operational setups.
Maintain hardware, networks, and systems by diagnosing and resolving issues with laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice, and printers. Provide basic network support for Wi-Fi, VPN, and wired connections, maintain audio-visual systems in meeting rooms, and support MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) setup and troubleshooting.
Document processes and guidance by creating and updating IT documentation, FAQs, and user guides to support both users and the wider IT team.
As you develop your skills with us, you will also be granted day-release to study for the appropriate academic qualifications at The S&A Transform Group Ltd.
