Job purpose: Would you like to earn as you learn? Our client has a number of Out of School Care provisions across the Baillieston area and they are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to join their friendly team. This would be an excellent opportunity to work for a committed employer who will pay you a competitive salary and support you in your training and beyond. You will undertake an apprenticeship in childcare to complete the SVQ3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7; on completion you will become a qualified childcare practitioner. Hours will be 16 hours per week (including shifts from 2.45 to 5.45, Monday to Friday, 15 hours) plus 1 hour paid for planning activities and online training courses. The apprenticeship salary ranges from £8 to £11.44 per hour depending on experience.
You will be supported and guided through the qualification with regular meetings with your allocated SVQ assessor and completing written work. The qualification will be delivered by Tinies Glasgow Training Centre (SQA accredited).
