There are two roles to be filled:
1. Merchandiser in Central Christchurch, Canterbury region. This role is on a part-time, permanent basis working 7 hours per week, 6:00AM start each day. Working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on some occasion on a Sunday when required. 2. Merchandiser in Christchurch, Canterbury region. This role is on a 12-month fixed term (maternity leave cover), working 12.5 hours per week, 6:00AM start each day. Working days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and on some occasion on a Sunday when required. So, if you’re an early riser who is ready to hit the ground running, then you are in the right place.
Stores are:
- Pak'nSave Riccarton
- Pak'nSave Moorhouse (5AM start)
- Woolworths Moorhouse
- Woolworths Colombo
- New World Durham St
- New World St Martins
- Woolworths Church Cnr
- Woolworths Hornby
Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Filling of stock to ensure shelves are presentable for Walter & Wild’s products.
- Rotation of stock to ensure the shortest dates are used first.
- The building of displays as instructed by Territory Manager.
- Advising stores of out of stocks and other issues/opportunities for Walter & Wild’s brands.
- Advising Territory Managers of any issues with Walter & Wild’s brands.
- Any other tasks as instructed by Territory Manager (i.e. shelf relays)
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous merchandising/sales rep/retail experience - preferred but not essential.
- A high standard of presentation.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding verbal communication skills.
- A reliable car, phone, and internet access.
- Have a valid store safe pass (would be an advantage).
- Clean/Valid Full driver’s license.
