The successful candidate will play a key role in advising leading insurers, re‑insurers, and financial institutions on strategic transactions and governance matters.

The team's work spans public and private M&A, Part VII transfers, portfolio acquisitions, and complex regulatory‑driven restructurings, with increasing involvement in emerging areas such as InsurTech, data protection, and cross‑border compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading on major corporate insurance transactions, from instruction through to completion.
• Advising boards and senior stakeholders on strategic and regulatory issues.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
• Driving client relationships and business development opportunities.
• Collaborating with international offices on multi‑jurisdictional mandates.

You

• 6‑8 years' PQE (or equivalent) in corporate insurance or financial services work.
• Proven track record managing complex M&A or corporate transactions.
• Excellent technical, drafting, and client‑handling skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and leadership qualities.
• Solid academic background (minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent).
