Job summary

A leading charity in recovery services is seeking a part-time Drug and Alcohol Practitioner in Ilkeston. This role involves managing a caseload of individuals struggling with substance use, delivering harm reduction interventions, and facilitating group sessions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a passion for supporting others, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated team. This position offers a salary of £14,782.2 per annum pro rata, with numerous benefits including annual leave and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Experience in working within the field of drug and alcohol use.
  • Lived experience with substance use issues.
  • Ability to maintain good record keeping and attention to data detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of service users with drug and alcohol issues.
  • Offer harm reduction interventions and structured key working.
  • Support service users in their person-centred recovery journeys.
