JOB PURPOSE

The postholder will interpret drawings to program CNC press brake machines to fabricate and fold sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings for programming CNC press brake machines to fold metal.
• Read and understand engineering drawings accurately.
• Meet set targets.
• Ensure internal customers are supplied all products as needed.
• Quality ensure all parts are folded to the correct standard.
• Handle equipment properly and store all tools.
• Move production parts safely, lifting and transporting components using gantry and jib cranes.
• Leave working areas fit to avoid health and safety risks, work safely for oneself and others.

General

• Fulfil legal Health and Safety duties by taking reasonable care, cooperating, using PPE correctly, and not interfering with health and safety provisions.
