Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of complex, mission-critical programmes within the defence sector. This role is central to ensuring robust planning, cost control, risk management, and performance reporting in a highly governed and security-sensitive environment. The role is located in the Derby Area however, this role will involve travelling and being on-site several days a week.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project controls on large, complex programmes.
• Background in defence, aerospace, nuclear, infrastructure or other highly regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of planning, cost control, risk management, and EVM.
• Comfortable working within strict governance, assurance, and contractual frameworks.
• Proficient in tools such as Primavera P6, MSP, Power BI, Excel (or equivalent).
• Eligible for, already holding UK security clearance.

• Security clearance will be required for this position.
• The role will involve working on-site with clients several days per week.
