Commissioning Engineer

Location: Field based – North East of England & Scotland

Position: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week>

Overview

As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will lead the commissioning of cutting‑edge water treatment systems, ensuring they meet rigorous technical standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Work with the commissioning manager to oversee the commissioning process from equipment handover to system activation, emphasizing safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate commissioning activities, ensuring resources and equipment are optimised to meet project schedules.
• Engage in design reviews, contribute to control philosophies, risk assessments and commissioning plans, and develop comprehensive documentation to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commissioning engineer in the water treatment industry.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and keen attention to health and safety.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage complex tests and analyse results.
• A passion for delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and develop.
• Excellent time management skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
