At Coles Conservation Architects, we are looking for a talented and driven Architect to join our growing team, working across a diverse range of historically significant buildings in London and the South.
We are fortunate to work on some of the nation’s most beloved heritage assets. Our current projects include The Great Hall at London’s Guildhall, Temple Bar, the Hill Garden Pergola, Hampstead Heath, Keats House and Library in Hampstead, and St James Garlickhythe in the City of London. As well as our work on public buildings and monuments we have a portfolio of private clients.
Our work spans sensitive repair, adaptation, and reuse, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, technical rigour, and a thorough understanding of historic fabric.
The role will involve undertaking building condition surveys, planning and listed building consent applications, technical design, construction supervision and contract administration.
You would be joining a small, close-knit team who are passionate about heritage.
We are keen to talk to Architects who have a passion for heritage and listed buildings. Candidates should have an aptitude for well-considered design and attention to detail. Applicants should have 3-5 years post-qualification experience within a conservation-focused practice.
This hybrid role is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, with projects located across London and the home counties. The basic salary offered will be £38,000-£40,000 dependant on experience. There is a performance-related bonus scheme and other benefits including the cycle-to-work scheme, generous holiday allowance, flexible working policy, CPD, studio trips and pension contributions.
