Senior Commercial Portfolio Management Surveyor

Candidate requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in commercial property management. RICS qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
• Experienced in all aspects of property management including:
  • The 1954 Landlord and Tenant Act and its application at lease renewals
  • Reading and understanding commercial leases
  • Service charge budgeting, coding, and reconciliation
  • Health and safety awareness and knowledge of the legislation that drives it
  • The ability to advise on rent and debt collection
  • Dealing with tenant applications such as licences to alter and assign
• The ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication is required
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office IT systems (Outlook/Word/Excel) is important

Outline of the role

• Client reporting property management role
• Reporting into the Team Director
• You will need to make regular inspections of the properties
• Manage a mixed commercial portfolio based all over London and the UK
• Overseeing the maintenance and asset management of the properties via third party contractors and advisors
• Liaising with the accounts team on service charges and rent invoicing, end of year reconciliation and financial queries
