Are you passionate and ready to shape the future of physical education in a brand-new, state-of-the-art environment? We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Male PE Teacher to join our team.

We actively encourage you to come into the Academy, meet the team and have a look at the new facilities.

In September 2024, we opened a brand-new school building featuring cutting-edge sports facilities, including a modern fitness studio. You will have the tools and the space to deliver a modern, innovative curriculum that inspires every student.

You will join a supportive and collaborative department that prides itself on professional growth and shared success. Colleagues from across the school are invited to support the team to deliver an extensive extra‑curricular programme that truly extends learning beyond the classroom.

We believe sport happens just as much outside the classroom as it does the academy. You will have the opportunity to promote and expand our after‑school clubs, fixtures, and competitive teams.

Newhouse Academy is looking for a PE teacher who we describe as one of ‘our people’. You will play a key role in engaging students in sports and fostering a culture of health, discipline, and teamwork.

We promote a healthy work‑life balance, all employees can enjoy free access to the modern, fully‑equipped fitness suite. We also offer an optional health package which provides money back on eye tests, prescriptions and more.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a modern, innovative PE curriculum to all students.
  • Support department-wide collaboration to enhance teaching quality.
  • Develop and run after‑school clubs, fixtures, and competitive teams.
  • Promote a healthy culture of teamwork, discipline, and physical well‑being.
Benefits
  • Full‑time equivalent hours.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Start date: September 2026.
  • Access to a fully‑equipped fitness suite.
  • Optional health package.
