Job summary

A local tennis club in Greater London seeks a part-time Coach to lead sessions across various tennis programmes. The role involves delivering high-quality coaching to players of all ages, participating closely with a small team, and ensuring effective communication and administration. The ideal candidate will possess at least a Level 2 coaching qualification, preferably Level 3, and demonstrate a passion for player development. Position

Coach – part‑time (start immediately)

Overview

The club is a small, family‑friendly venue with three floodlit courts and an additional junior court. We run a comprehensive programme that includes a Mini Tennis Programme, an Adult Programme and Junior Holiday Camps. This role offers a genuine opportunity to grow a career at The Avenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead coaching sessions across the Mini Tennis Programme, Adult Programme and Junior Holiday Camps.
  • Deliver high‑quality coaching to players of all ages and stages.
  • Remain organised and proficient in communications and administrative duties.
  • Collaborate closely with the small team of young coaches and report directly to Head Coach Sally Bentley.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 2 coaching qualification (Level 3 preferred or on the pathway to Level 3).
  • LTA Accredited.
  • Valid proven track record of on‑court coaching.
  • Require 2 references and will be asked to complete 2 on‑court trials (group and individual lesson).
  • Passion for coaching and a clear vision for player development.
