A leading flow control solutions provider in Glasgow is seeking an experienced accountant for a 12-month maternity cover. This role involves completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, collaborating with the payroll department for journal entries, and preparing VAT returns. Candidates should have a recognised accounting qualification, strong analytical skills, and experience with financial controls. GENERAL SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced accountant to provide 12-month maternity cover for one of our team. The role is a key part in our monthly financial closing and reporting process.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, this role will involve completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reports for each entity currently supported by our shared service centre. The FA&R Manager will be supported by other team members currently working in this area (for Glasgow & PEIL) and will receive a full handover from the current incumbent.
