Overview

Education, Communities and Housing – Building Cleaning at Glaitness Primary School. Position: Cleaner. 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, 4.00pm – 8.00pm, Monday to Friday).

Salary: £28,192 - £28,462 pro rata / £14.61 - £14.75 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance).

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning duties following written procedures and using your own initiative where necessary.
• Carry out a range of cleaning activities, including use of cleaning products and powered cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, to keep the premises clean and hygienic.

Requirements

• Minimum experience of cleaning duties either at home or in a commercial environment.
• Knowledge and use of basic cleaning equipment both manual and electrical is required.
