Job summary

A notable community organization is seeking a Senior Category Manager for HR & Business Services to oversee significant procurement strategies and spend. This role includes leading procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving innovation. Qualifications

  • Post-qualification procurement experience in HR & Business Services with a commercial bias.
  • Ability to negotiate Professional Services contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in integrated project teams with supplier partners.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement strategies across HR & Business Services.
  • Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract management.
  • Engage with markets to identify best practices.
  • Oversee supplier relationship management and performance monitoring.
  • Handle line management of 2 direct reports.

Skills

Post-qualification procurement experience in HR & Business Services
Understanding of Professional Services contract terms
