Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Lytham St Annes is seeking a Quality / Continuous Improvement Engineer to ensure product safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will lead ISO 9001:2015 audits, manage calibration processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strong background in quality roles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to utilize technical practices to enhance operational performance. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals or high-caliber graduates in the engineering field.

Qualifications

  • Background in a Quality role within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
  • Ready to reshape internal processes and influence design-stage quality.
  • Certification in ISO 9001:2015 with competency for internal audits.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Lead Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015.
  • Take ownership of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
  • Lead investigations to eliminate underlying causes of defects.

Skills

Experience in a Quality role within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
Advanced problem-solving abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in professional computer applications

Education

Trained in ISO 9001:2015
