Quality Assurance Engineer (Senior/Mid level)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Wellola, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our healthcare products. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to identify and address potential issues. Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure a positive user experience.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry‑standard tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that new features do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers to isolate, reproduce, and debug issues, providing detailed reports to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs on Jira / Confluence.
  • Work closely with teams to understand user scenarios and contribute to the improvement of user stories.
  • Monitor debugging process results and track where necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a professional setting.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands‑on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Ideally, an understanding or exposure to healthcare standards, including FHIR and HL7.
  • Skilled in testing APIs and ensuring they function as expected.
  • Proficiency in testing web applications built with PHP, React‑Typescript, .net hosted on cloud.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
