Bloomberg runs on data. Our products are fueled by powerful information. We combine data and context to paint the whole picture for our clients, around the clock – from around the world. In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem‑solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes.
Carbon‑related data has become increasingly crucial for our clients, providing deeper insights into risks and opportunities for corporates and financial players on the global path to net‑zero. Our team delivers high‑quality, transparent data and analytics on carbon markets — including emissions, carbon credits, renewable energy credits, and related instruments — across the Bloomberg Terminal and Enterprise products.
Our mission is to provide fit‑for‑purpose, trustworthy carbon data that improves market transparency and empowers clients to make informed decisions about carbon pricing, risk management, and sustainability strategy.
As a Data Product Owner, you will use your market expertise and data management skills to bridge business priorities with Product and Engineering teams, while collaborating closely with other internal partners. You’ll drive the development and scalability of our carbon datasets, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and actionable.
