A leading global insurance provider is seeking a Senior Market Underwriter to transform the Private Client business through collaborative broker relationships. The ZPC Senior Market Underwriter will help drive and transform how our Private Client business partner our broker portfolios, through responsive, flexible and collaborative relationships. With a strong balance of technical and trading capability, they will be empowered to make decisions. Reporting to the Business Manager, this will involve working with the local underwriting & sales function to deliver our strategic objectives and delivering for our customers and internal stakeholders.
As a senior member of the team, part of your role will be providing technical underwriting support to the wider team and supporting their development. You will also have accountability and ownership for driving, analysing, and delivering a strong underwriting result across our portfolio including key customer contacts.
The Senior Market Underwriter role will require travel within the nominated area, as it will be broker facing in addition to the technical underwriting elements.
You will have established, strong High Net Worth Motor and Property Underwriting experience with a track record of delivery for customers of all sizes and experience of managing complex risk. We’re looking for someone who is happy to challenge processes and decisions using your attention to detail and someone looking to develop and broaden their knowledge, and the knowledge of other colleagues. Organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines is also key.
