Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance and assembly of hydraulic control systems.
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems and fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and test hydraulic systems for the oil and gas industry.
  • Prepare repair scopes and repair documentation.
  • Work closely with service office team for client communication.

Skills

Identifying and assembling hydraulic components
Fault-finding and modifying hydraulic systems
Pressure testing of tube and pipe systems
General workshop machining and fabrication
Reading and interpreting P&IDs
TIG welding in stainless steel

Education

Mechanical Craft or Technician Apprenticeship
Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering

Tools

Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs)
Well Head Control Panels (WHCPs)
Topside Termination Units (TUTUs)
