A leading UK contractor in Trowbridge is seeking a part-time Technical Assistant to join their Liquid Bioresources Team. This role involves liaising with drivers, testing samples, and maintaining equipment while championing health and safety practices. Ideal candidates will have an interest in the wastewater industry, positive attitude, and a driving licence. The position offers flexible hours, with responsibilities focused on ensuring effective operational practices and providing exceptional service to customers.
We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Liquid Bioresources Team in Trowbridge on a part-time basis, providing environmentally friendly treatment of various non-hazardous liquids to our valued customers.
A typical day as a Technical Assistant will involve liaising with the drivers, testing samples, checking & completing paperwork, and accurately recording information on our computer system.
As well as providing our customers withexceptional service, you will be responsible for ensuring that onsite equipment such as our discharge bays and plant remains clean, effective and operational.
You will be required to take a proactive approach to Health & Safety and be a champion of safe practices and policies by completing daily checks and routine inspections.
Predominantly three days per week, ideally Tuesday – Thursday between the hours of 08:00 -16:00, but some flexibility in the working days may be possible.
Due to business need, on occasion cover on non-working days will be required.

We are looking for someone with a passion for the environment, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to engage in a professional and friendly manner with others.
It would be advantageous if you have a good understanding of wastewater treatment processes and legislation.
You will also need to have a driving licence and computer skills.
