Qualifications

  • A coaching qualification (Level 1 or above) is mandatory.
  • Must possess a First Aid qualification.
  • Experience in community coaching is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a well-structured Tennis program focusing on pupils' progression.
  • Provide high-quality coaching and improve the coaching level.
  • Maintain a positive image of the Centre and deliver first-class customer service.
  • Set up equipment and address customer queries.

Overview

GLL is looking for a Tennis Coach Level 1/2/3 to work at Sutton Sports Village. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Tennis Coach, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. This is more than a Tennis Coach job, it's a career.

As a Tennis Coach you’ll be highly motivated and committed to engage and inspire pupils of all ages and abilities within a safe setting providing a fun, friendly and encouraging environment you’ll pass on your knowledge to help improve pupil’s performances whilst teaching the fundamental skills - you’ll get great satisfaction seeing pupils progress and develop.

You hold level 2 or above qualifications will ensure that you can comfortably deliver high-quality sessions at a variety of levels, abilities and age groups of children.

What you’ll do
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of a Tennis programme which will be well structured, focussing on progression and the development of your pupils.
  • The delivery of high quality coaching
  • Improving the level of coaching and increasing the numbers on the programme
  • Be aware of pupils status, nature and needs
  • Maintain a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public generally by providing a welcoming, helpful and professional service.
  • Setting up equipment
