A fostering service organization in London is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to provide supervision and support to foster carers and the children placed with them. The candidate should have a Social Work Degree, a full UK driving license, and be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check. The role offers generous annual leave and various employee benefits.

WorkingPattern: 30 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.00pm, with oncall rota at evenings and weekends
An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSupervising Social Worker to join the team at Nexus Fostering.We are looking for a passionate and dedicated social worker to bebased at our Hornchurch office, which covers Essex, London andthe South East.
TheRole
As Supervising Social Worker you willprovide a high level of supervision and support to foster carers,as well as the children/young people with complex needs placedwith them.
You will be responsible for therecruitment, assessment and approval of foster carers (Form Fmodel) and present written reports to the fostering panel. Youwill also be required to undertake independent visits, buildingpositive and trusting relationships.
The successful candidate will need to beable to confidently provide training and support to foster carersand operate within the current legislation, regulations andguidance set out for fostering services.
