A team-oriented law firm in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support their Commercial Property and Litigation teams. The role involves audio and copy typing, filing documents, and maintaining diaries.   • Audio and copy typing for the department.

  • Copying and preparing mail and disclosures.

Staff Power Group are delighted to be working alongside a team orientated law firm in Newcastle. They are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary. This role can be full-time or part-time and offers the opportunity to work across Commercial Property and Litigation teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audio and copy typing for the department
  • Filing documents accurately, both electronically and in hard copy
  • Supporting fee-earners and maintaining diaries
  • Client-facing tasks and preparing straightforward legal documents
  • Copying and preparing mail and disclosures
What We Are Looking For
  • Good speed and accuracy when typing
  • Knowledge of word processing systems
  • Experience of working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of legal terminology
  • We are looking for someone to work a Monday, Thursday, and Friday either 9am-5pm with 30 mins lunch or 9am-5:30pm with an hour for lunch.
