A local food service provider in Gloucester is seeking a Production Chef to create high-quality, homemade food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure and maintain speed of output while ensuring quality. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but those looking to advance in the catering field are welcome to apply. This role offers straight shifts during the day, with hours generally from Monday to Sunday, promoting a good work/life balance.
Here at the WestmorlandFamily we make all our food ourselves from fresh local ingredientsincluding beef and lamb from local suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients.
Our Production Chefs use their cooking skills tomake pie fillings, sauces, soups, stews, roasting meats, and all othervarieties of food on offer across all our businesses.
This is a kitchen whereyou will be producing good home made food with the best localingredients in high quality, big batch production with a deadline tomeet. Unlike the majority of kitchens, we work straight shifts with nosplits and mainly during the day but can be flexible depending on theneeds of a successful work/life balance.
Hours will be generallyworked Monday to Sunday
We're looking for someonewho can work in a fast paced, high volume kitchen environment andmaintain speed of output and quality at all times. Ideally you will haveprevious experience in a similar role but we would be happy to considerapplications for those looking to progress their career in catering.
