Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs) are the monopoly companies responsible for transporting gas from the high‑pressure National Transmission System (NTS) into homes, businesses, industry and power stations across Great Britain. They manage the local part of the gas system the lower‑pressure pipe networks that deliver gas safely and reliably to around 22 million consumers. They are a critical part of the nations energy infrastructure.
Were looking for a Head of Gas Distribution and Monitoring which is a key role in their effective regulation. You will be joining at a critical time as we transition from setting the 14.4 bn price control settlement for the sector, that runs from 2026 2031, to focussing on its delivery. This is a key role in Ofgems Network Price Control Directorate.
