You will:
  • Drive end-to-end ownership: Own and drive the complete hiring lifecycle for critical Product and Engineering roles.

  • Act as a strategic partner: Collaborate with hiring managers and co-founders to build detailed job briefs, design robust assessment processes, and execute effective hiring plans.

  • Generate high quality pipeline: Proactively source and engage top-tier candidates, building strong talent pipelines for both immediate vacancies and future talent-pools

  • Build our employer brand: Leverage your creativity to elevate Beam’s employer brand, driving high top-of-funnel engagement with world-class talent.

  • Level up candidate experience: Ensure an unparalleled and positive candidate experience for every individual, regardless of outcome.

  • Deliver operational excellence: Become an expert user of our ATS (Ashby), utilising data to track performance, report on key metrics, and continually suggest process improvements.

  • Play a leading role in iterating and developing the Talent function and scaling frameworks as the company grows.

  • Work closely with co-founders and team leads across the business to frame hiring plans that align with our operational strategy.

You are:
  • A tech hiring SME, with expertise covering Software Engineering, Product Designers and Managers, IT and wider tech functions

  • Highly results-driven: Hungry to hire the best talent to drive social impact.

  • Proactive & resourceful: A 'roll up your sleeves' attitude with a commitment to continuous process improvement.

  • Data-driven: Analytical and comfortable reporting on performance, using data to inform recommendations on the best sourcing channels and identify blockers

  • Organised & independent: Naturally organised, capable of managing a high volume of varied roles autonomously.

  • A Natural relationship builder: Adept at connecting with people from all backgrounds to forge meaningful relationships.
