Job summary

A technology solutions company is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in High Wycombe, UK, to conduct field service work for test instrumentation. This role involves assessing customer needs, performing installations, repairs, calibration, and providing technical support. Qualifications

  • 1 or 2 years minimum in the service sector required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess on-site customer requirements and plan travel accordingly.
  • Perform on-site service, repairs, and calibrations as per procedures.
  • Install new equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide basic operator training at customer sites.
  • Prepare quotations for on-site work and manage tools/parts stocks.
  • Keep records and document operations in systems.
  • Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with service team members.
