Job summary

A leading event management firm in Wolverhampton is seeking Event Stewards to join their team. You will welcome visitors, assist with queries, and ensure the smooth running of events like concerts and sports. Experience is advantageous but training is provided. Flexible hours and a pay rate of £12.21 per hour are offered. Candidates must be over 18.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Event Steward is advantageous but not essential.
• Good level of verbal and written English is required.
• Ability to react calmly in high-pressure situations.

• Welcome all visitors to the venue.
• Deal with queries and provide event information.
• Check access passes where applicable.
• Help direct the flow of foot traffic.
• Provide excellent customer service for smooth event running.
• Act as the eyes and ears for the safety team.

Job description

We are looking for Event Stewards to work across Wolverhampton and the Midlands;and join us as partof our Event Stewardingteam. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at a multitude of events such as sporting events, concerts, and festivals, in particular Wolverhampton Wanderers, Derby County, Coventry City FC, Manchester United, Everton FCand more!

We consistently achieve this goal through the three key parts of our business: Event Services, Training, and temporary Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM). Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Welcoming all visitors to the venue
• Dealing with any queries and offering additional information regarding the event
• Checking access passes (where applicable)
• Helping to direct flow of foot traffic
• Offer an excellent level of customer service to ensure the smooth running of the event
• Being the eyes and ears of the event and ensuring the safety team have the information they require

All skills below are advantageous however not essential as we will provide all training to support successful candidates:

• Experience working as an an Event Steward
• You must have a good level of verbal and written English
• The ability to react calmly in high pressured situations

Shift times will vary on each event, early and late shifts will be available.

All work is offered on a casual basis giving you flexibility to work around your current commitments.

Rate of pay:

Depending on the event you work, the hourly rate is£12.21
