About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to help lead our cleaning/portering team at Didcot Community Hospital. Your role will support the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality cleaning and catering services, making sure our hospital remains a safe, clean, and welcoming place for patients, visitors, and staff.

This is a hands‑on role where you will work alongside the team, leading by example and supporting staff to meet NHS cleaning standards and infection control requirements. Main duties of the job
  • Support line manager with rotas and cleaning schedules
  • Ensure that staffing levels are maintained to adequately meet the service requirements; highlight any issues immediately to line manager
  • Managing stock levels for cleaning consumables, linen and food stock, and highlighting shortages to line manager to order
