A leading care provider in Glasgow seeks Personal Assistants for a 25-hour night shift contract. In this role, you will support individuals with personal care, mobility, and social engagement, helping them achieve their goals. Experience in care is not required; we value your attitude and commitment to making a difference. Join us at Crannog and help create an empowering environment for those we support.
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable, making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants, but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as a Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
The best in you brings out the best in me – that’s the mantra we live by. Our people have many varied interests, hobbies, and dreams, and as a Personal Assistant at your best, you have the potential to truly bring out the best in them.
Crannog is a 30‑bedded residential care home based in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow, supporting older adults with dementia, learning disabilities, and ARBD. We encourage the people we support to get out into the local community as much as possible, promoting independence and involvement in all decisions surrounding their care needs.
Help transform lives like L’s. Hi, I’m L and Crannog is my cherished home. I’m all about living life to the fullest and I’m on the lookout for someone who can share my zest for life.
I enjoy getting out and about in the community, going shopping, and having lunch. Together we can make these moments even more enjoyable. I love music, going to concerts, and watching football. Bringing L to concerts makes her very happy and brings back happy memories.
You don’t need experience in care to start your social care career with Enable. We recruit people based on their values and transferable skills.
Are you ready to make a real difference to me and people like me? If you share the same interests and have the commitment, dedication, and above all, desire to support L to get the most out of life, then please apply now! Enable needs you and your values to help us create an equal society for every person we support.
