Job summary

A rural Benefice near Peterborough is seeking a priest who embodies theological depth and pastoral warmth. The successful candidate will engage in community life, welcoming families and young people, while inspiring worship. This role comes with both challenges and joys, and full support is provided throughout the journey. Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required, and applications are encouraged by Sunday 1 March at noon through the Benefice website. Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 21 April.

Job description

We are a rural Benefice just 10 minutes from Peterborough city looking for a priest with theological depth and pastoral warmth who will help deepen discipleship across all ages.

• Welcome children, families and young people into church life.
• Embrace the use of our churches for worship, community and cultural events.
• Collaborate with, lay leaders and volunteers for ministry, mission, good governance and safeguarding.
