• Keep the work area and kitchen clean and tidy.

About The Role

Days of Working: Monday - Friday

10:30 am to 18:30 pm daily

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that patient and clients receive a prompt and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain contract health and safety, and hygiene standards and appropriate documentation following current legislation and company standards.
• Preparation of sandwiches, salads and beverages as required.
• Receive, check, sort and store supplier products as directed.
• Prepare food service area to the standard laid out by the management.
• Washing up, general tidying, removal of waste and used crockery/cutlery to be expected along with keeping the work area and kitchen to the highest cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
• Food hygiene certificate and health & safety training qualification – (desirable as training can be provided).
• Practical food handling experience, preferably from within a healthcare background.
• Willing and able to work shifts (including nights, weekdays, weekends, bank holidays) on any of the Trust sites.
• Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
