Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician for their homecare team. You will manage the delivery and oversight of homecare medicines, ensuring compliance and high standards of service. The role requires a NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and significant hospital pharmacy experience. You will supervise staff, lead audits, and act as a key contact for various stakeholders. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £44,485 - £52,521 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience relevant to Hospital Pharmacy Practice with assessed competencies.
  • Experience supervising and leading staff.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience of quality, audit, or service improvement activities.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Homecare processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the Trust’s homecare medicines service.
  • Manage administrative processes and monitor provider performance.
  • Lead audits and contribute to service development.
  • Line manage technical and administrative staff.
  • Act as a point of contact for clinical teams and patients.

Skills

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office

Education

NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent
