PIPS are developing a brand new service in Bedale, supporting an individual in their own home. We are in the process of developing a transition plan for an individual to move back to North Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to be part of developing this new package of support.
Becoming a deputy team manager with PIPS allows you to lead the team delivering great support and improve their quality of life.
We are looking for someone who will work directly supporting individuals, developing PBS plans and provide good role modeling for the team. Being proactive, you will provide support and guidance to staff who are supporting other tenants and you will provide leadership to support workers within the service to provide high quality person centred support.
You must be motivated, creative and strive to work in a person centred way, demonstrating excellent communication skills, have a positive outlook - even when times are difficult. A confident caring approach is essential. You will have experience leading support for people with complex needs and autism and PBS experience is essential.
