A leading children's services provider in Greater London is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Children's Intervention and Planning Team. Candidates must possess a Social Work Qualification and have at least 3 years of post-qualified experience. The role involves working with at-risk children in a proactive, child-centred manner, and participating in initial court proceedings. This position offers competitive pay of £39.04 per hour and hybrid working options, within a supportive management structure.
We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Children's Intervention and Planning Team.

This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection children in the borough involving CIN, CP and court cases. The team work hard to effectively and efficiently make decisions on cases at all stages of crisis intervention to ensure the absolute best outcomes are achieved. Working proactively, with a child-centred approach to each case is vital to ensure successful case progression.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a children's frontline safeguarding Social Work team as well as key experience in initial court proceedings. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are not essential but desirable for this role.
