Communications & PR Manager

Lithia UK (Hybrid)

Salary up to £50,000 with bonus, car allowance, family PMI, pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases and aftersales services

As the Communications and PR Manager, you will play a key role in executing our communication and PR strategy. You’ll create impactful content and drive communications initiatives across various media platforms, covering a diverse range of topics relevant to both the business and the automotive industry. In addition, you'll take charge of media relations, building strong, positive relationships with key media stakeholders to enhance our corporate brand, manage our public image, and steer us through crisis communications with confidence.

Your Journey as a Communications & PR Manager:

  • Develop and execute strategic communication and PR plans and campaigns to promote internal activity, the company brand, products, and initiatives
  • Support to deliver internal and external communications across various channels. Creating content including press releases, media packs, email bulletins, articles, blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and external customer communications
  • Act as the first point of contact for media inquiries, and coordinate responses as needed
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide guidance for communications to support with clear messaging to enhance engagement across departments, the wider business and externally
  • Provide communications guidance and messaging support to the Customer Resolution team to ensure aligned responses and a positive customer experience
  • Produce monthly reports to demonstrate performance and engagement of communication activity
  • Manage communication tools and platforms to streamline information sharing and enhance accessibility
  • Manage Communications Specialists to ensure consistency of communication and process
  • Provide support to implement wider communication and PR projects across the business and deputise for the Director of Communications and Design where required
