• Experience in vehicle workshop setting.
• Capable of handling vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Understanding of Department of Transport operating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair company commercial vehicles to Department of Transport standards.
• Rectify reported driver defects and carry out related duties.
• Conduct road tests when necessary for repair.
• Provide cover for workshop supervisor when necessary.

Skills

Vehicle diagnostics

Knowledge of bulk pressure systems

LGV licence (desired)

Education

Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent training
